Waterfowling

Potomac River waterfowling at its best for mallards and black ducks

Waterfowl Hunts

We provide our clients quality traditional waterfowl hunts for both diver and puddle ducks on a variety of water environments.  The brackish marsh flats of the Tidal Potomac River can't be matched when it comes to the variety of ducks to choose from.  It also boasts a large Canada Goose population.  Located in Central Virginia is Wood Duck haven Lake Anna.  Lake Anna also provides great action for Mallards and Canada's.  Probably the best trips are our Cast and Blast trips or Catchem' and Fetchem as my son calls them.  Spend the morning shooting ducks or in a field shooting Canadian Geese then top the day off fishing for Lake Anna Stripers or Potomac largemouth bass.  We can even flip it spend the morning fishing then set-up a roost hunt for either geese or ducks.  The duck boats we run are state of the art built for the mud as well as rough water hunts such as diver hunts no situation is to daunting of a task.  Just as any of my other guided trips whether it be fishing or hunting we provide the client with an education into our trade.  Such arts as placement of decoys, calling, gear, blind building and location.  At the front of this list is gun handling and safety, advice on brands, choke size, and shot type and size. When it comes right down to it you have got to have the real-estate; we have up to 15 private blinds on the Tidal Potomac and several Lake Anna locations.  Come join us in one of America's time honored traditions.

Field Hunts for Geese

There's nothing quite like your heart pounding out of your chest while a committed flock of Canadians ascends down on top of you while you're comfortably situated in your layout blind. The birds seem enormous and their constant honking begs for your guide to call out that famous fowlers cry, "Take'em Boys"! Our hunting real estate in this area of our service is enormous. We have access to grain fields all over the state from the Shenandoah Valley to the central and southern part of the Commonwealth including a 2000-arce plantation located in central Virginia.  This is a very enjoyable and comfortable hunt that is great for youngsters.

Dream it then live it!

Some folks go an entire lifetime without taking a long beard. There is no question that the wild turkey is one of the most elusive creatures on the planet. I cannot put into words to describe the feeling one experiences as a big Tom struts in answering our coy pleas.  We have brought these magnificent  creatures within just feet of our clients. All of our hunts take place on private lands. We will do fall hunts but prefer to guide you during the spring gobbler season. Calling is an art and we like to teach it. Beginners are welcome.

 Rate: is $275.00 per person.

We can supply you with a quality firearm.
